The 2023 Big Event, hosted by the Lake Oconee Area Builders Association (LOABA) took place Saturday at Lake Oconee Village, with 144 local exhibitors on hand.

Grammy winner’s concert to benefit LOA arts program

Mike Farris, who won the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Roots Gospel Album (“Shine for All the People”), will be performing on March 31, at Oconee Brewing Company (OBC) in downtown Greensboro. All proceeds from the special, one-night-only event will benefit the arts program at Lake Oconee Academy (LOA).
