Head-on collision claims five lives Tuesday morning

Five people were killed instantly in a head-on collision Tuesday morning, including an infant and a toddler. Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills identified the victims as Mayla Dostie, 44; Hailey Brook Hayes, 22; Zaleigh Adaya Brooks, 23; Bentley Barlow, 3; and Tucker Hudspeth, 8 months old.

Eatonton woman killed in motor scooter crash

An Eatonton woman lost her life after a motor scooter crash, according to authorities. The victim, Misty Renee Hunnicutt, 48, of Eatonton, was traveling along Wards Chapel Road around 8:30 p.m. on June 29.

Milledgeville gang members shoot at rivals in Eatonton

Two Milledgeville teens have been arrested and two more are being sought by Eatonton Police Department in connection with an early morning shooting at the Shell Food Mart in Eatonton.
