PCSO investigating rash of stolen utility vehicles

Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies are investigating a rash of stolen utility task vehicles (UTVs), lifted golf carts, and zero-turn lawnmowers on trailers from residences around Lakes Sinclair and Oconee.

Fire Department has new rescue boats for each lake

Fire rescue boats designed specifically for Lake Sinclair and Lake Oconee have arrived for the Putnam County sides of the lakes to assist in any type of public safety agency’s rescue efforts.

An entertaining thing to do is just sit by the dock on a Friday afternoon. Last Friday, I was out at the Boat House on Lake Oconee. You know the place. In the old days, it was a catfish joint and now it’s got storage and gas, right off the backside of Harbor Club.
