Dear Editor: Like many of you, for the past week I grieved the loss of one of our county’s prominent citizens and reflected on the many memories expressed by his family and friends. His passing continues to be difficult for so many to process, as it occurred as a result of such a tragic accident.

Almost everyone thinks they’re a storyteller and that there’s little to retelling something seen or heard. This is not true. Our unique ways of telling stories are born in us. Believe this by watching babies and toddlers in how differently they express themselves.

Great minds run in pairs. I read an interesting opinion piece in the Atlanta newspapers recently about parenting. The author, Beth Collums, has a master’s degree in clinical psychology and experience as a child and family therapist. She is also a parent.

Dear editor: My week was very, very busy. I remember that I am not nosy. I have graduated, and now I am concerned. The weather is probably confusing to some visitors but not for Georgians. We have several seasons in one week, but I love Georgia.
